Thinc Member Highlight – Savannah Construction

Savannah Construction

Savannah Construction & Preservation offers a broad range of construction and professional services. Their skilled team of craftspeople and professionals strive to provide exceptional general contracting, construction management and historic preservation expertise to their clients and their projects.

What do you do and who do you provide your service for? We are a construction and preservation company that does both commercial and residential work.

What was your “Ahah!” moment to entrepreneurial-ship? The people working for our company had all been previously working under another company. When the prior company decided to dissolve, we formed our own and continued the work that had already been started and moved forward with new projects as well.

Local or transplant: We are all transplants to the area, but have been here so long we feel as if we are locals at heart.

What do you love about Savannah? Savannah lends itself to the work we do to preserve the past while creating new spaces for generations to come.

Favorite place(s) in town: The historic squares of Savannah are a wonderful place to go to when taking a break from the office.

What’s your current project? We have several current projects right now all around Savannah. The one nearest to the office is the Kehoe Foundry and Kehoe Smithy at Trustees Garden.

How did you find yourself at Thinc? We are always downtown for project meetings, going to City Hall, meeting clients, managing projects, and the location is central to all we do downtown and at the same time allows us to quickly get to projects outside the city limits as well.

What is your favorite part about coworking? Thinc allows us to be able to help each other to network and potentially collaborate together on upcoming projects.

What kind of experiences are you looking for with Thinc? Thinc is a working environment where we respect the fact that we are all there with one common goal of wanting our business to succeed.

A long overdue welcome to the Thinc Community!
