Hostess City Toastmasters announce new officers

Hostess City ToastmastersToastmasters is excited to kick off a new year, and introduce its new officers!

President – Elaine Fox

Elaine joined Toastmasters in January 2014. In that time she has achieved her advanced bronze and competent leader awards. She is also a Triple Crown toastmaster. She has lived in Savannah for 10 years, and is a former teacher, and social worker. Currently she is a fitness professional who does Personal Training, Senior Training and Yoga instruction.

VP Education – William (Bill) Fox

Bill is a retired telecommunications engineer, restaurant, and hotel manager. In his career he worked as a Product Manager, Market Developer and Technical Instructor. He currently does freelance work in those capacities. He has lived in Savannah 10 years, and has been a Toastmaster for 4.

VP Membership – Kimberly Price

Kimberly joined Toastmasters in January 2015. She currently interns with the major crimes division of the Public Defender’s office. She has lived in Savannah for 3 years, and has been with the Public Defender’s office the entire time!

VP Public Relations – Rachel Danes Panfil

Rachel joined Toastmasters in October 2014. She has been in Savannah just over a year. She currently works as a Staffing Manager at OfficeTeam, where she helps individuals in their job search.

Secretary – Autumn Certo

Autumn has been a member of Toastmasters since February 2012. She’s been a Savannah resident since 2006, but was born and raised in Michigan. She is an accountant, who specializes in Individuals and Corporate tax accounting.

Treasurer – Keith Pflager

Keith is a Human Resources Professional new to Savannah. Most recently he lived in Minnesota. Keith has been a Member of Toastmasters since January 2015, and is also a member of the Savannah Area Society for HR Management.

Sergeant at Arms – Marshall Adams

Marshall joined Toastmasters in April 2015. He is a Mechanical Engineer at JCB, and has lived in Savannah for 5 years. He is originally from Michigan. One of his favorite hobbies is paddle boarding.

Last year the Hostess City Toastmasters participated in several community events such as:

          Three SCAD workshops

          Hosted local TEDtalk speakers

          Hosted the area speech contest

The Hostess City Toastmasters Club is currently recognized as a Distinguished Club, and it is working towards the President’s Distinguished award this year.
